What are you currently reading?:

I’m a big fan of Caitlin Moran and loved her book How To Be A Woman. I was lucky enough to go to a talk she did in London and pick up a signed copy of this. I’m nearly halfway through already because I just can’t put it down.

What did you recently finish reading?:

Ah, a blast from the past! I used to love Point Horror novels when I was a teenager and had literally dozens of them. I read this in preparation for a new feature that will be appearing on my blog, coming soon!

What do you think you’ll read next?:

Next up for me is Daughter, the first book on the Richard and Judy Autumn 2014 reading list here in the UK. My sister and fellow blogger Chrissi Reads has already read it and enjoyed it so I’m looking forward to it!

What are you currently reading?:

I’ve wanted to read this book for so long and my sister and fellow blogger ChrissiReads gave it to me as a present for Christmas. Thank you Chrissi! I’m currently doing a “Real Book” challenge on my blog for August and this is one of them.

What did you recently finish reading?:

Again, another book I’ve been meaning to read for so long as I’ve really enjoyed the authors other two books. This book absolutely blew me away and I urge everyone to read it, read it!

What do you think you’ll read next?

This book is part of my new Banned Books feature that I participate in with fellow bloggers Chrissi Reads and Luna’s Little Library. This is our August read and was chosen by Luna! Very intrigued to start it.

What are you currently reading?:

This is the second book in Marissa Meyer’s Lunar Chronicles series and I’ve been meaning to get to this book for so long. I know some of you have really enjoyed it so I’m looking forward to getting stuck in.

What did you recently finish reading?:

I’m not really sure what I expected from this book but it certainly wasn’t what I expected. I’m reviewing this book with my blogger friend Luna’s Little Library so look out for our review coming your way on Friday.

What do you think you’ll read next?:

Jojo Moyes is one of my favourite authors and I’m slowly making my way through her back catalogue. This is one of her older books, first published in 2005 and I’m really looking forward to it.

What are you currently reading?:

This is the third and final book in the Unearthly trilogy by Cynthia Hand and I can’t wait to see how it all turns out! My sister Chrissi Reads thought very highly of this book so I’m probably going to agree with her.

What did you recently finish reading?:

This is author Sarah Moss’s account of what it was like to live in Iceland for a year and it’s pretty fascinating stuff. I read it for a new feature that will be coming up in a couple of months (or thereabouts!) on my blog.

What do you think you’ll read next?:

Next up is a book I’ve had on my radar for a while as I got it free from NetGalley and Penguin UK Publishers (thanks to them!) but it has also been picked as a Richard and Judy Summer Bookclub 2014 read here in the UK, and I always enjoy reading what they recommend. I’ll be “talking about” it with Chrissi Reads so look out for our review!

What are you currently reading?:

I am one of Stephen King’s biggest fans (if I haven’t already told you!) and I’ve been looking forward to starting his new novel for a while now. Can’t wait to get stuck into this properly.

What did you recently finish reading?:

Siege and Storm is the second book in the amazing Grisha series and was my last book of June 2014 Chrissi Cupboard Month. I’ll be doing a round-up post of everything I read as soon as all my reviews are out.

What do you think you’ll read next?:

This book is on Richard and Judy’s Summer Book Club 2014 here in the UK and I’m looking forward to what I think will be an emotional World War I read. I’ll be reviewing it with my sister and fellow blogger Chrissi Reads.

What are you currently reading?:

This is another one of my June 2014 Chrissi Cupboard reads and I’m absolutely loving it. Kind of Cinderella meets Memoirs of A Geisha. Should be finished it by the end of today!

What did you recently finish reading?:

Yes, I love my fairy tales! This one is another Chrissi Cupboard book and a bit of a darker look at the story of Alice in Wonderland for the modern age. And very good it was too.

What do you think you’ll read next?:

Next up for me is my June Kid-Lit read with Chrissi Reads, The Wind In The Willows. I’m loving this cover art as well.

What are you currently reading?:

I’ve seen this book around for a while and when I read the synopsis I wasn’t really compelled to read it but when Richard and Judy put it on their Summer Reads 2014 list I thought I’d give it a shot. I’m really glad I did as it’s a terrific story, hope to finish it today and look out for my review either this weekend or early next week!

What did you recently finish reading?:

Because I Am Pilgrim is quite a beast of a book (just over 700 pages), Hollow Pike, which was on my list last week appears again. It is the debut novel from UK YA author James Dawson and a great read. Look out for my review coming (fairly) soon!

What do you think you’ll read next?:

Up next, I’m going back to Chrissi’s Cupboard for The Madness by Alison Rattle. I loved her previous novel, The Quietness, and am really looking forward to this one!

What are you currently reading?:

I’ve just started this YA read from Matt Haig whose other works The Humans and The Radleys I’ve enjoyed so I’m looking forward to getting stuck in. This is also the fifth book on my Chrissi Cupboard List (please see my previous post HERE) and I’m really pleased I’m getting through them so quickly.

What did you recently finish reading?:

The fourth book on my Chrissi Cupboard list this was also my first Patrick Ness novel. And now I understand what all the fuss is about. Hopefully my review will be up in about a weeks time, but trust me – it’s an awesome read.

What do you think you’ll read next?:

Up next is the debut novel from James Dawson, whose other novels Cruel Summer and Say Her Name I’ve read and reviewed recently and loved. Really looking forward to this one too!

This book won the Women’s Prize for fiction last year here in the UK and I can’t believe I’m only getting round to it now. Loving it so far!

What did you recently finish reading?:

This book was part of a challenge I participate in with my sister and fellow blogger Chrissi Reads and was our Kid-Lit choice for the month of May. Look out for our reviews coming your way on Sunday!

Next up is a book I’ve actually had on my TBR pile for ages but am now going to review with Chrissi Reads. It’s also part of the Richard and Judy Summer Book Club here in the UK. I can’t wait to start this one!

I’m about halfway through this book which I’m reading as part of a challenge for a GoodReads group. It’s not a terrific read so far but some parts are really beautiful.

What did you recently finish reading?:

I’ve just finished this brilliant YA read by British author James Dawson which I thoroughly enjoyed! Look out for my review coming hopefully this weekend or early next week.

This is the last book in the Richard and Judy Spring Book Club 2014 and one I’ll be reviewing with my sister and fellow blogger Chrissi Reads. Looks like an interesting one!
